i found my 1929 alfa in one of the popular german classic car magazines. there was no price but i thought it looked like an interest project if the price was right. i have restored and rebuilt many fast cars from the 1960's and 1970's but this was the project that i was looking for.
when i saw the car i knew straight away that i would buy it.
it was the right age, poor condition, partially dismantled ( in boxes!) but seemed to be all there and i had never heard of praga before!
later i was very pleased and surprised to discover the level of engineering achieved on a car from the 1920's; many novel and interesting innovations, which as a design engineer from the automobile industry, i could really appreciate.
i found a suitable home for the car and the project began................................
